Integrated Prescription Management (IPM), a leading pharmacy benefits management (PBM) company, has promoted Rich Adams to President and Chief Operating Officer, effective January 1, 2021.
Integrated Prescription Management (IPM), a leading pharmacy benefits management (PBM) company, is pleased to announce that President and COO Rich Adams has been recognized with a bronze award for Executive of the Year by Best in Biz, the only independent business awards program judged each year by prominent editors and reporters from top-tier publications in North America.
Adams’ accomplishments include expanding IPM’s product portfolio with alternate funding solutions, pharmacogenomics, site-of-care infusions, and a prescription discount card program. He also spearheaded a rebrand, expanded the leadership team, and built a national sales team. In addition, Adams regularly advocates for giving back to the community, including foodbanks, fire relief, a community college association, arthritis foundation, a high school athlete program, and other nonprofits.
“I’m honored to be recognized among incredible leaders across all industries,” said Adams. “This award would not be possible without all of the extraordinary people in our organization who share my passion and vision to transform the pharmacy benefit experience.”
As a testament to Adams’ contributions, IPM was named one of Ragan’s Top Places to Work and earned a Silver Stevie Award for Customer Service Department of the Year in 2021.
Prior to joining IPM in 2019, Adams served as the Senior Vice President for Kroger Prescription Plans. He holds a master’s degree in health policy from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University, an MBA from Alliant University, and a certification in Finance from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Rich serves on the State Center Community College Foundation’s Board of Directors and is an advisor to Teddy Health. He is also a member and regular contributor to the Forbes Business Council.
