President & Chief Operating Officer

Rich Adams

Rich Adams is responsible for running all operating aspects of the business. Rich has a proven executive management track record with over 20 years of experience driving sales growth, operations efficiency, and innovation in the health care industry.

Prior to joining IPM in 2019, Rich served as the Senior Vice President for Kroger Prescription Plans where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business. Prior to this, he was the Head of Sales, Account Management, and Product Development at OmedaRx, the pharmacy program for Regence Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oregon, Utah, Idaho, and Washington. Rich also served as Vice President of Sales and Account Management at Cigna Healthcare Taft Hartley and Payer Solutions divisions, and has held various leadership positions at MedImpact Healthcare Systems.

Rich graduated with honors from the University of Maryland at College Park and received a master’s degree in health policy from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University. He also holds an MBA from Alliant University and a certification in Finance from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Rich serves on the State Center Community College Foundation’s Board of Directors. He is also a member and regular contributor to the Forbes Business Council.

Kurt Belluomini

Kurt is a dynamic business professional with diverse experience in financial planning, management, operations.

He joined IPM in 2015 and has leveraged strategic, operational, and financial expertise to facilitate significant growth for the organization.

Prior to joining IPM, Kurt served as principal at Valoren Business Solutions. He has also held CFO positions at Patrick James, Inc. and Occu-Med, Ltd.

Kurt holds a BS in business administration with an emphasis in finance and an MBA from California State University, Fresno.

Chief Information Officer

Jimmy Hanson

Jimmy oversees software development, quality assurance, infrastructure, and digital technology.

He has extensive experience in building high-performing teams who develop innovative healthcare applications.

With more than 15 years of experience in the PBM industry, Jimmy and his team have developed actionable reporting tools, Patient Assistance Programs (PAP) inventory management technology, real-time connectivity to exchange accumulators with medical providers, web applications through secure portals for members and clients, and streamlined processes through automated workflow for rapid turnaround delivery of data.

Prior to joining IPM in 2013, Jimmy was an IT leader at another PBM company, where he led the development of critical business processes and supported the growth of the company from $200 million to $1 billion in revenue.

Jimmy holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Purdue University and a master’s of business administration with an emphasis in IT management from Western Governors University.

Senior Vice President, Innovation & Strategy

Melissa Daniels

Melissa Daniels joined IPM in 2014 and currently serves as the senior vice president of strategy, innovation, and compliance. Having a unique mindset and analytical abilities, combined with more than 20 years of experience in pharmacy benefits and operations, Melissa researches, identifies, and builds strategic processes to implement new products, programs, and efficiencies that continuously add value to our portfolio.

One of Melissa’s many accomplishments at IPM includes launching an innovative specialty services division to serve the unique needs of the behavioral health and indigent market. Over the years, she has made extraordinary progress in helping develop and streamline processes for these facilities, which have proven to reduce costs through flexible benefit designs, tailored solutions, custom reporting, Patient Assistance Programs (PAP), inventory management systems, and exceptional account management.

Prior to joining IPM, Melissa worked with another PBM for 17 years, leading the development and implementation of sales and account management for behavioral health and government funding sector. As the director of client services, she created and implemented specialized programs and cost containment initiatives with a 99 percent client retention rate.

Melissa holds a BA in business administration from Amberton University. She is also a certified pharmacy technician, licensed nationally and with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, and has ERISA certification.

Senior Vice President, Operations

Dondi Ballard, RPh

As senior vice president of operations, Dondi Ballard oversees IPM’s award-winning client experience team, which includes account management, member services, and benefits administration.

Dondi has 31 years of clinical experience as a pharmacist in multiple health care settings, including hospital pharmacy, retail pharmacy management, state Medicaid formulary and prior authorization management. He previously served as the brand president of PharmAvail where he was directly responsible for customer service, client retention, information technology, financial, planning, and other clinical functions within the company.

Dondi received his BS in pharmacy from the University of Georgia. He is an active member of the American Pharmacists Association and the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs.

Vice President, Operations / Chief of Staff

Allison Gerrard

Allison began working for IPM when the company launched in 2009. She oversees the client experience team, vendor management, performance management, implementations, and the call center staff.

Allison began her career in the pharmacy benefit management industry in 2005 as a sales and marketing manager, gaining extensive experience in designing proposals and programs that uniquely matched customer needs.

As one of the IPM’s original employees, Allison gained experience throughout the company including pharmacy network management, account management, and client services. In 2012, she became the director of plan administration, expanding her experience in plan design and implementation. Allison leads the plan administration and client services teams, as well as IPM’s 24-hour Call Center.

Allison holds a BA in English literature from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from California State University, Fresno.

Rene Tangonan

Rene brings extensive experience in pharmacy benefits management, IT, business intelligence/ data warehousing, operations, account management, and strategic finance operations.

Rene’s background includes managing teams, supporting managed care organizations, self-insured/self-funded, Medicare Part D, Medicaid fee for service, managed Medicaid, county behavioral health, and AIDS drug assistance programs. Most recently, Rene worked at Magellan Rx Management for more than four years.
Rene brings a depth of understanding into PBM client operational, reporting, and analytical needs, coupled with in-depth experience in enterprise performance management.

Rene received his BA in Russian area studies from the University of Missouri – Columbia, his BS in economics and MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.

Debby Clark

Debby oversees branding, marketing communications, public relations, and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

With 25 years of experience in healthcare marketing, Debby has held leadership roles in specialty health, wellness, pharmacy benefits, hospital systems, and virtual physical therapy. Over the years, she has led her teams to win more than 500 awards for excellence in healthcare communications.

Debby holds a BA in English from Arizona State University, an MBA from the University of San Diego, and an MA in industrial/organizational psychology with emphasis on consumer behavior from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Ken Perrin, PharmD

Ken Perrin brings more than 25 years of clinical experience to IPM from multiple health care delivery settings.

Prior to joining IPM, Ken served as the director of pharmacy at four hospitals in California and Tennessee, and was a member of multiple pharmacy and therapeutic committees. He has worked with behavioral health programs in hospital and health plan environments and has extensive experience in formulary development.

Ken joined IPM in 2013 and has provided outstanding clinical leadership and guidance during this time. His clinical support ensures that IPM’s pharmacy benefit and formulary designs meet our client’s goals and objectives, while providing quality medication coverage to members.

Ken holds a BA in biology from Pacific Union College, a PharmD from University of Pacific, and an MBA from Tennessee State University.

Seong An

Seong oversees IPM’s financial planning and analytical capabilities. His dynamic approach to business issues and robust experience in both healthcare and finance are assets to IPM as we continue to grow and develop as a company. Seong’s background includes more than ten years of healthcare experience that ranges from actuarial, operational, financial, and data analytics work for top consulting firms and healthcare companies.

Prior to joining IPM, Seong served as the director of financial planning and analysis at one of the nation’s largest emergency department physician groups, US Acute Care Solutions. He has also held various positions at Alvarez & Marsal, EmblemHealth, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Seong holds a BS in finance and actuarial science from New York University.

Cody Field

Cody Field joined IPM in 2014 and currently serves as vice president of account management. With a unique perspective that combines a caring, clinical background with a business-minded approach to pharmacy benefits, Cody provides leadership and support to a team of experienced account management professionals.

Cody and the team are committed to working collaboratively with our clients to identify and meet their goals and objectives, while ensuring that quality pharmacy benefits coverage is provided to the client’s beneficiaries. Previously, Cody grew IPM’s innovative specialty services division serving the behavioral health and indigent market as a senior account executive and later served as director of account management.

Cody has extensive experience in health care with over 12 years of experience in pharmacy and has been in the pharmacy benefit management industry since 2010. He previously worked as a client consultant at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas and as an account manager at US Script.

Cody holds a BS in registered nursing from Western Governors University. He is also a certified pharmacy technician, licensed nationally and with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy and licensed with the Texas Department of Insurance for General lines – Life, Accident, Health, and HMO.

Caleb Goings

Caleb Goings serves as IPM’s vice president of corporate accounting and manages all accounting operations organization wide. He is an experienced business process improvement professional who strives to improve performance, create efficiencies, and reduce costs.

With 12 years of accounting and finance experience, Caleb is a proven leader and project manager. Prior to joining IPM, Caleb previously served as the manager of accounting at Health Net Federal Services.

Caleb received his BBA in accounting and finance from Fresno Pacific University. He is also a certified public accountant.
